This Blog exists for the collective benefit of all algebra students. While the posts are specific to Mr. Chamberlain's class, any and all "algebra-ticians" are welcome. The more specific your question (including your own attempts to answer it) the better.
The Mid-Term exam will begin at 11:00am tomorrow. You may bring a bag lunch or purchase/bring lunch from the cafeteria. NO FISH, ONIONS, OR SAUTEED LIVER PLEASE! At your option, you may eat lunch in the cafeteria ant then come to the room afterwards. The other students will have started the exam so please enter the room quietly and respectfully.
1. The exam will end at 12:50pm regardless of when you start. 2. Be prepared with two sharpened pencils. 3. Please bring a book, magazine, homework or anything to keep yourself occupied (and quiet) in case you finish early.
Tomorrow morning at 7am, I will be hosting a 7th Grade MATH PARTY in my room... all of my 7th grade math students (Algebra & Math Honors) are welcome. Please RSVP (tell me if you are coming) by commenting below.
A hint: You will have a problem very similar to the milk consumption problem. You will be expected to make estimates based on your trend line AND identify/understand the technique you are using, i.e. interpolation or extrapolation.
